Dr. Keiji Terao founded COSANA Co., Ltd. in 2006 as a health food company. COSANA started selling Manuka Honey in Japan in 2008 and now COSANA has the highest sales share of Manuka Honey in Japan.

Joined the team in May 2021 following a successful career to date in the New Zealand honey industry planning and developing several successful honey export and accredited honey testing laboratory companies.

Quality, workplace culture and a passion for the industry have been instrumental in achieving recognition within the industry and its people.

For the past six years inclusion in the Apiculture New Zealand Standards, Compliance and Regulatory focus group has ensured global updates are received first hand.
